Design:
Regarding items that are
pre-calculated and include design, eg, Thanks you cards,
Business Card, Menus etc.
The
client is required to complete and sign the order form
in–store or send all the relevant details in an e-mail
for our design team to produce a proof. The fee includes
the first layout, printing of the first proof and
printing of the complete set of prints. If any changes
are required, this is an additional artwork fee.
Additional proof prints are not included and will also
be charged at the standing print rate.
Discount digital printing:
Discounts do not
apply to overdue accounts. Please clear this information with our bookkeeper
before placing your order if you are not 100% sure of the status of your
account.
By requesting a Discount Digital order, you agree to accept the prints as our
team are able to print in a 'live' printing environment, if reprints are
required, they will be available at our standard printing rate. 'Live' printing
refers to the "first print'' using the Fuji Software option for colour
correction.
This offer applies to digital printing on Fuji Crystal Archive paper
only.
Our PD codes are used to distinguish prints that do apply. This is displayed on
the invoice.
Large format and canvas printing is excluded.
Discount is waived if the order is handed in with a list, all files must be
neatly prepared in folders with full instructions on an order
sheet to qualify for maximum
discount. You can prepare your folders on one of our
four Photoshop
workstations available for you in our reception.
Orders must be delivered and collected from our store by the client.
A lower discount applies when delivered or collected by
our vehicle or any staff member.
Discount orders do not qualify for while-u-wait service unless the printers are
available.
Orders sent via e-mail must have a minimum of 10 identical prints to qualify.
Special border or Presentation prints by Studio22 are not included.
Prints involving special effect by Studio22 do not apply.
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions at any time
without prior notice whatsoever. The changes will be displayed on this site.

Studio22 Album Maker submissions:
We reserve the right to stop or place on hold, any
order we believe may be rejected for any reason
whatsoever. This stop or hold may take place at any
stage in the production process in which we find or
notice any irregularity that may negatively affect
the final product or the Studio22 brand. The client
will be contact via e-mail within 24hours.
Examples: If the cover image does not fully cover
the template or appears ‘off balance’. If pages
inside the book appear to have errors in layout that
in the past have caused books to be reprinted. This
is left entirely at the discretion of the staff
members involved in the printing and binding of
photo books and products at Studio22. Studio22
cannot be held liable for any losses that may be
related to this delay in any whatsoever.
Index Prints:
If index prints are required before printing, prints
ordered from that film will be charged at reprint
prices. Our index special, film process and 12x18
inch print at R40, can not be used in conjunction with
other offers or packages. If scanning is required, the
standard scanning rates per roll will apply.

CD and DVD printing:
If you supply your own printable CD or DVD's, although
you only pay for the printing you receive, we can not be
held liable for errors during printing. This includes
printing errors, scratches to discs, printing marks due
to fingerprints, ink failure, misalignment, etc. You
will be required to supply additional discs or we will
invoice discs at our standard fee. If a sealed set of
discs are purchased from Studio22, you will receive the
full amount ordered, errors will be reprinted by
Studio22 at no additional fee.
Design - Copyright:
Copyright applies to all artwork produced by
thephotolab@studio22 / Studio22.
This includes Coffee Table Books, Storybook albums, any
border created for school packages, presentation borders
or sport event and all Special borders produced at
Studio22. Any photographer who reproduces borders,
bookmarks or desk calendars designed by Studio22 will be
held liable for copyright infringement along with the
designer who copied the design.
Quotations:
Please request a written quotation. It is a strict
policy that we only honour valid Studio22 written
quotations. We will gladly write or e-mail you a valid
quotation. You are welcome to request verbal information
but financial agreements must be put on paper. This
relates to all products and services offered by
Studio22.
Equipment:
We reserve the right to retract any price published to
the is site in error. At no stage will we purposefully
publish a low price to attract attention without the
intention of selling the product at that price.
Images of products or offers may differ from the final
product. Please enquire before ordering "from a
photograph". Although the greatest care is taken to
ensure all kits are correctly represented, we are
limited by information and images from outside
suppliers. This includes all products and services
listed on this site.
Renumbering: Only on request.
Once the images have been scanned, they will be
renamed. Renamed files do not match the negative
numbers. Each scan and photograph will be numbered with
the last three digits of the film ‘twin check’ number
and a frame reference preceded by a ‘D’ (eg.
543-D51.jpg). To avoid confusion with film numbers, we
rename from D50.
ICC Profiles:
The use of any ICC profiles whether supplied by Studio22
or elsewhere are used at own risk. There is no guarantee
whatsoever that any image on a display (calibrated or
otherwise) will match a final print through any of our
printers. We suggest test prints be made for accurate
colour projects. This applies to screens and displays on
Studio22 property or elsewhere.
Warrantee:
Free delivery or collection is not included in warrantee
repairs or replacements. This applies to courier costs
for any item sent to or from Studio22.
Digital Pro Orders - 2009: (Our new price structure -
effective 1 July 2009)
Digital Pro discount of 33% applies to all photographers
(including Students and club members) for standard
Frontier prints. The extended discount of 40% applies to
clients who deliver and collect orders over the counter,
if our delivery service is used, the 40% does not apply.
If order lists greater than 10 images are supplied
rather than images in pre-selected folders, the 40%
cannot apply. 60% off film processing applies in all
cases. The Digital Pro Order sheet MUST be completed
and signed for the discount to apply.
Courier and postage:
Our prices do not include postage or insurance. Please
request insurance if it is required.

Photography or any staff member, do not accept
responsibility or liability in any why whatsoever for
any damage to products once they leave our property. If
you request insurance, and the products arrives in a
unacceptable state, it is your responsibility to arrange
payment for the repair or replacement of the product
from the courier company.

the right to change quoted prices of any published
item/s on this website without prior notice. E&OE.
