The Coffee Table book:    Supply your own design
 You are welcome to provide your own design. Although we supply free Photoshop templates, these are only a simple option - the possibilities are endless.

Requirements:
Our books are A5 landscape, A4 landscape (210x297mm) or A3 landscape (297x420mm). Please supply your A5 design in A4 and we will resize our end. We have our own ICC profile for this printer, if you are an advanced Photoshop user, we recommend you still do a test using this profile, follow this link - use the DTP profile. We require a minimum bleed of 5mm (We recommend 10mm - See Picture 1.1 below) - as all our books are hand bound, each book is individually trimmed and may vary. We suggest doing your layout on a full A4 canvas and allowing enough space around your images for us to trim. It is therefore best not to placed an image with a detailed border too close to the edge of your page. Picture 1.2 shows a full A4 page with the bleed on all four sides of the page.

Please note that our 'bleed' is INCLUDED in our page size. Please do not add the bleed to the page size. An A4 page must therefore be 210x297mm in total.

The ideal format to supply your Coffee Table Book pages is PDF, we accept PSD and Jpeg.
The cover we prefer as a Jpeg, we accept PSD and Tiff. Please ensure you are using our cover template as we will need our bleed marks to show.
 
Important layout info - Please note:
Unless specifically requested in writing or clearly indicated on the order form, all Coffee Table Books will start with page 01 on the right - this is a publishing standard. Due to the style of our first Storybook albums using a 'double page spread' layout, the Life XW range will start with page 01 on the left and be presented as a double page spread with page 02 on the right. Both options can be produced in both books but as additional material will be needed, the price may differ, please request a quote. Unlike the Display album, the layout of a Life XW is one page at a time and not double page spread.

Page numbering:
Please use '01' rather than just a '1'. This is the format in which computers process numbers. A single '1' will be printed after '10' if it does not have the '01' format. An example is therefore Page01, Page02, Page03, etc. If there are more than 100 pages, it will need to be Page001, Page002 etc.

Alternative options:
You can supply designs created on alternative software packages, for example,
iPhoto, Dg Foto Art, Photoshop and Page Design. As certain criteria may apply, please contact us to clarify any variations or changes to settings.
