Digital Printing Profiles

If you are processing your own images, it is vital that you use a calibrated monitor and printer profile. Below are a few custom ICC profiles compiled by Studio22 for advanced users.

For use with Crystal Archive Paper. Any print on our Frontier, including StoryBook album pages, artwork for thank you cards and DVD covers etc.
(The above profile is not ideal for metallic prints, please discuss this with Kurt)

We have installed a new printer - our new profile will follow shortly.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you need your filename to be printed on the reverse of the print, please note that the Frontier only prints the first 8 characters. Be sure to place the number within the first part of your filename.

How to install a
profile (in Photoshop for Windows)
If you are new to profiles and want to play, load these and make a few test prints. Profiles only work in software like Photoshop. You will need Photoshop 6 or higher. Once you have clicked on the link above, select save. Right click and select 'install profile'. Open Photoshop, select <edit>, then <color settings>, tick, 'advanced mode'.

Under 'Working Spaces' in <RGB>, choose the selected profile from the drop down menu. If you have an image open in Photoshop, you will see the change take place. Please use a calibrated monitor to ensure your screen is set to an international standard - calibration settings will vary according to your screen make and type. (Newer versions of Photoshop may use alternatives)
